This leadership role involves overseeing the administration of eight public and private law foundations for the Hanseatic City of Lübeck. Day-to-day, the successful candidate will ensure the fulfillment of foundation purposes, maintain foundation assets, and manage a diverse portfolio of real estate, agricultural lands, and forests. The position requires a strategic professional capable of navigating complex financial and legal landscapes while representing the foundations' interests. Required Skills

Education

Alternatively, a commercial qualification in real estate or finance with extensive experience. Qualification as a Municipal Accountant or IHK Certified Accountant is desirable.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in administration, finance, or real estate
  • Experience in foundation management (Stiftungswesen) is highly preferred
  • Proven experience in leadership and departmental management
  • Professional experience in budgeting, tax, and property law
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience required if applying with commercial vocational training
