Job Summary

As a Field Service Technician based in the Southern Germany region (Stuttgart area), you will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability of power supplies for key infrastructure and data centers. Working independently from a home office, your daily routine involves traveling to customer sites to perform the installation, commissioning, maintenance, and repair of Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and battery systems. You will act as a technical consultant, conducting on-site troubleshooting and providing customer training. This role is highly dynamic, requiring close collaboration with project management and sales teams while maintaining customer data in ERP systems. The position is particularly attractive due to the provision of a company car for private use, a 38.5-hour work week, and comprehensive private insurance benefits. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training as an Industrial Electrician, Electronics Technician, Master Electrician, Engineer, or a comparable qualification in industry or trade.

Experience

  • Professional experience as a Field Service Technician is required
  • Foundational knowledge in electrical engineering is mandatory
  • Industry experience in UPS or battery technology is highly advantageous
  • Experience in independent on-site troubleshooting and customer service
  • Experience working in an international business environment

Additional

  • Valid Class B driver's license required; High willingness to travel nationwide including overnight stays; Participation in on-call standby duty (at least one week per month); Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Southern Germany/Stuttgart region.
