As a Chemical Plant Operator in the Solvents division in Stade, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of assigned plant units. Your daily tasks involve monitoring process equipment, control systems, and machinery from both the control room and on-site. You will execute operational tasks according to the Master Task List, including equipment preparation, sampling, and first-line maintenance. A key part of the role is proactive troubleshooting to resolve process deviations and participating in root cause analyses when necessary. You will work closely with shift team members to anticipate unplanned events and escalate issues when appropriate.
