Job Summary

As a Field Service Technician for Charging Infrastructure at Daimler Buses Solutions, you will play a pivotal role in the electromobility transition across Southern Germany. Your daily responsibilities include the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of AC/DC charging systems and transformer stations. You will act as a technical expert performing fault analysis, repairs, and measurements according to DGUV standards (DIN VDE 0100-600, DIN VDE 0105). Beyond technical tasks, you will manage external service providers to ensure Daimler's quality standards and provide high-level customer support during troubleshooting. This role is ideal for proactive individuals who enjoy a mix of remote work and travel. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering; a Master Craftsman (Meister) or Technician (Techniker) degree is preferred.

Experience

  • Professional experience in electrical engineering or a related technical field
  • Experience in the field of charging infrastructure is highly desirable
  • Experience in initial testing (VDE 0100 Part 600) and periodic testing (VDE 0105)
  • Experience in field service and customer communication
  • Proven track record of independent and solution-oriented work
