Job Summary
The Upper Bavaria North Police Headquarters is seeking an IT Professional for their technical operations services in Erding. In this role, you will be responsible for the full lifecycle of mobile devices and application management, including the administration and monitoring of Enterprise Mobility Management (EMM) infrastructure. Your day-to-day tasks involve managing telecommunications systems such as smartphones, tablets, and softphones, performing 1st level support, and conducting technical troubleshooting and problem management. You will also be tasked with implementing technical improvements and providing training to users. This position is particularly attractive as it offers a secure public service career path with the intent of transitioning the employee into a permanent civil servant status (Beamtenverhältnis). Required Skills
Education
University or Fachhochschule degree in Physics, Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Communication Technology, or Engineering (with a significant focus on ICT). Must meet requirements for the 3rd qualification level of the German civil service career path.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT service management, specifically in hardware and software configuration
- Experience in system administration and database applications
- Experience supporting mobile devices (smartphones, tablets, convertibles) in an enterprise environment
- Experience with network and radio technology including digital radio and LAN/WAN
- Experience in analyzing and structuring complex technical issues

- Must be under 45 years of age at the time of appointment to civil servant status. Candidates must pass a police background check and a reliability check (Art. 60a PAG). Full-time position (40.1 hours/week) based in Erding.
