Job Summary
This role involves serving as the Deputy Head for the Central Services and Finance department within the Municipality of Hohenhameln. You will be responsible for representing the department head, contributing to organizational development, and optimizing administrative work processes. A significant portion of the role focuses on financial management, including the preparation of budget plans and annual financial statements, as well as general tasks in human resources. You will collaborate closely with administrative leadership and represent the department in political committees and external institutions. This position is unique as it starts as a parental leave replacement with the explicit prospect of a permanent redistribution of tasks following the retirement of the current department head. Required Skills
Education
Completed Administrative Specialist Course II (Angestelltenlehrgang II), a Bachelor's degree in Administrative Management, Public Management, or a comparable degree qualifying for the second entry level of the general non-technical administrative service.
Experience
- Professional experience in the municipal administrative sector is preferred
- Experience in technical administration of financial software (Axians Infoma newsystem)
- Experience in preparing budget plans and annual financial statements
- Experience in human resources and general administration
