Job Summary
This role involves the development and maintenance of core mathematical calculation engines for 'lifestream®', a proprietary insurance policy management system. Working as part of an agile team, you will be responsible for translating complex insurance-specific requirements into high-performance software solutions. Your daily activities will include the configuration of central functionalities, performing quality assurance through automated testing, and generating technical documentation. You will collaborate closely with system architects and stakeholders at WWK to ensure the modernization and stability of legacy systems. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Mathematics or a related field with a focus on Computer Science.
Experience
- Professional experience or initial exposure to object-oriented software development, specifically Java or similar backend languages
- Professional experience in solving complex analytical and mathematical problems
- Experience in working within agile environments is preferred
- Experience in the insurance industry or with insurance-specific technical systems is an advantage
