Job Summary
As a Lab Specialist in the Regional Home Care I&I Application Lab in Cologne, you will provide critical technical support and drive the development of innovative chemical solutions. Your daily responsibilities include creating new formulations, conducting performance tests, and validating test methods for the Home Care and Industrial & Institutional (I&I) sectors. You will work closely with international sales, marketing, and product management teams to translate laboratory results into technical reports and marketing documentation. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of hands-on laboratory work and strategic collaboration. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Laboratory Technician or a Bachelor's/Master's degree in a natural science field.
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in formulation development or application testing within the Home Care and I&I sector
- Professional experience in conducting performance tests and developing sample formulations
- Experience in technical reporting and presenting study results to stakeholders
- Experience in supporting laboratory management with health, safety, and quality requirements
