This role involves the technical development and management of road infrastructure for the municipality of Brüggen. As a Civil Engineer or Construction Technician, you will oversee the entire lifecycle of civil engineering projects, including planning, tendering, awarding contracts, and construction site supervision for roads, roundabouts, bridges, and pedestrian paths. You will act as the representative for the client (the municipality), coordinating with utility providers, external engineering firms, and residents. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor/Master/Diploma) in Civil Engineering or completed training as a State-Certified Construction Technician (Staatlich geprüfte/r Bautechniker/in) or equivalent qualification in road/traffic engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the construction industry is preferred
- Experience in planning, tendering, and construction supervision of civil engineering projects
- Practical knowledge of relevant construction regulations, DIN standards, and technical rules
- Experience in coordinating with external stakeholders and engineering firms
