Job Summary
As an IT Systems Engineer at the Klinikum am Weissenhof, you will join a dedicated team of 18 professionals providing critical IT services to approximately 1,850 users across multiple psychiatric clinic locations. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve the administration of Windows (2019-2025) and Linux servers, managing Active Directory, SharePoint, and Exchange environments, and ensuring robust data security through backup and recovery testing. You will also oversee network infrastructure, including firewalls, VLANs, and VPNs, while participating in 24/7 on-call rotations. This role is ideal for those who enjoy a mix of infrastructure projects, process automation via PowerShell, and high-level technical support. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in IT, such as IT Specialist for Systems Integration (Fachinformatiker für Systemintegration) or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in IT systems integration and infrastructure
- Proven experience in Windows and Linux server administration
- Experience managing SharePoint, Exchange, and Active Directory environments
- Practical experience in network security and firewall administration
- Experience with PowerShell scripting for automation

- Valid Class B driver's license required for travel to branch offices and on-call duties. Participation in 24/7 on-call rotation is mandatory. Must be eligible to work in Weinsberg, Germany.
