Job Summary
As a Quality Manager at esz AG, one of Europe's leading metrology laboratories, you will be responsible for the continuous development, planning, and monitoring of the organization's quality management system. Your day-to-day activities involve managing the Quality Management Manual, conducting internal audits, and coordinating inter-laboratory comparisons. You will collaborate closely with department heads to define quality goals and report on the system's effectiveness. A key part of the role includes handling customer complaints, leading quality circles, and providing training to motivate staff regarding quality standards. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Physics, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field; alternatively, a career changer with relevant QM experience. Certifications as an Internal Auditor or Quality Manager are advantageous.
Experience
- 1-2 years of professional experience in a calibration or testing laboratory organized according to DIN EN ISO/IEC 17025 is preferred
- Professional experience in quality management, including development and monitoring of QM systems
- Experience in planning and conducting internal audits or quality monitoring measures
- Experience in managing customer complaints and process evaluation
- Experience in leading working groups or quality circles
