Job Summary
As a Power Electronics Development Engineer at ZED Ziegler Electronic Devices GmbH, you will play a pivotal role in designing systems and components for UV disinfection, contributing to global water and air safety. Your daily responsibilities include designing electronic circuits for ballast units up to 3.5kW, creating PCB layouts, and building prototypes. You will also implement hardware-related algorithms in embedded microprocessors and integrate them with analog and digital control units. This role is highly technical, requiring you to qualify prototypes through pre-compliance measurements and support the transition to mass production. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, preferably with a specialization in Power Electronics, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in the design and dimensioning of power electronics circuits
- Experience in using electronic simulation tools
- Experience in PCB layout systems, specifically Eagle Layout or AutoCAD Fusion
- Experience in hardware-related programming for microprocessors
- Experience in prototype construction and testing
