Job Summary
This role involves the technical programming and management of advanced 5-axis CNC machining centers for a medium-sized family business specializing in high-quality wooden doors. On a daily basis, the successful candidate will create, adapt, and optimize NC programs using AutoCAD and AlphaCAM software for both series production and custom components. You will work closely with the production team to implement new manufacturing processes and refine machining strategies for MAKA and HEIAN machines using Siemens and FANUC controls. The position is ideal for a professional who enjoys active participation in production design rather than just writing code. The role offers a permanent contract, a collaborative team environment with short decision-making paths, and the opportunity to work with modern machinery in a future-oriented production facility in Raesfeld.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in metalworking, woodworking, or mechanical engineering; ideally with further qualification as a Technician (Techniker), Master Craftsman (Meister), or a comparable degree.
Experience
- Professional experience in CNC/NC programming and machine operation
- Practical experience with CAD/CAM systems such as AlphaCAM or AutoCAD
- Experience working with CNC control systems like Siemens or FANUC
- Proven background in metalworking, woodworking, or mechanical engineering
