Job Summary
As a Laboratory Technician at Kabelwerk Meissen, you will be a vital part of the technical team for a company with a 150-year history in cable and wire manufacturing. Your daily responsibilities will involve planning, executing, and documenting laboratory tests according to standard procedures. You will be responsible for incoming goods inspections of raw materials and semi-finished products, ensuring they meet specific requirements before releasing them in the ERP system. Additionally, you will perform material testing on plastics and copper conductors for both production monitoring and development projects. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who enjoys working with both electrical and non-electrical laboratory equipment. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training (at least 2 years) as a Laboratory Assistant or Technician, ideally with a focus on chemical laboratories.
Experience
- Professional experience as a laboratory technician or in a comparable technical role
- Practical experience working in a chemical laboratory environment
- Experience in test planning and data evaluation
- Experience using ERP systems (specifically SAP) for material release
- Proven ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
