Job Summary
As a Materials & Processes Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Engineer at Airbus, you will join a dynamic transnational team in Bremen focused on the development and implementation of NDT methods for aircraft structural components. Your day-to-day responsibilities include technically qualifying new testing tasks across global production plants and suppliers, resolving complex technical queries, and maintaining critical AITM specifications. You will play a vital role in assessing process deviations and contributing to international research projects aimed at optimizing NDT technologies. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Aircraft Design, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or an equivalent field of study.
Experience
- Profound professional experience in at least two NDT techniques (UT, ET, PT, MT, RT, or CT)
- Robust professional experience in the field of materials, processes, and technical qualification
- Experience in resolving technical queries within a production or stress domain environment
- Experience in contributing to national or international research and development projects
Languages
Additional
- Must be eligible for or able to obtain a security clearance by recognized authorities. The role involves supporting suppliers and risk-sharing partners worldwide.
