Job Summary

As a Facility Manager for a high-tech joint venture between Rheinmetall and ICEYE, you will play a pivotal role in establishing a new greenfield site dedicated to satellite-based reconnaissance and defense. This position involves building the entire facility management department from the ground up, ensuring seamless technical and infrastructural operations within a highly regulated production environment. You will lead construction and infrastructure projects, manage technical building equipment (TGA), and oversee critical systems including HVAC, MEP, and cleanroom technology. A major component of the role is developing a comprehensive site security concept, encompassing access control and physical asset protection. Required Skills

Education

Completed technical vocational training or a degree in Facility Management, Building Services Engineering, Supply Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in technical facility management, specifically within production or cleanroom environments.
  • Proven experience in managing construction, infrastructure, and technical building equipment (TGA) projects.
  • Demonstrated experience in service provider steering, procurement processes, and contract management.
  • Experience in developing site security concepts, physical security, and emergency management procedures.
  • Professional experience in establishing facility management operations from scratch (Greenfield experience).
