Hardware/Electrical Engineer – Functional Safety in Electronics | Hardware/Electrical Engineer – Functional Safety in Electronics (f/m/x)
modelwise GmbH
Job Summary
As a Hardware/Electrical Engineer at Modelwise, you will play a pivotal role in revolutionizing functional safety analysis through AI-powered automation. Your day-to-day work involves building high-trust simulation models of complex electronic components, including digital integrated circuits and discrete semiconductors. You will translate manufacturer datasheets into SPICE models and ensure the technical integrity of automated safety analyses by assessing circuit topologies and failure modes. This role is unique because it moves away from traditional, manual spreadsheet-based safety calculations toward a mathematically complete, automated platform. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to solve difficult engineering problems, prototype AI-assisted modeling techniques, and contribute to the safety of next-generation systems in automotive, aerospace, and industrial sectors. The position offers a remote-first culture, a competitive salary, and a stock option plan in a fast-growing deep-tech environment.
