Job Summary

This role is for a detail-oriented Commissioning Technician specializing in laser systems, based in Burbach, Germany. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting internal tests of laser subsystems, calibrating IPG laser sources and optical measuring instruments, and meticulously documenting test procedures. A key part of the job involves commissioning handheld welding and cleaning lasers (LightWELD) and performing repairs on customer systems. Additionally, the technician will provide technical support and assistance to customers during preliminary acceptance tests. This position is ideal for someone with a background in mechatronics or electrical engineering, who possesses a strong technical understanding, experience with laser applications, and a willingness to travel within Germany and occasionally across Europe.
