Job Summary

As a System Administrator and Platform Engineer at HUK-COBURG, you will be responsible for managing and optimizing Business Intelligence and Data Science platforms, including Microsoft Power BI and Domino Data Lab. Your daily activities will involve ensuring high availability, implementing data backup strategies, and managing access concepts. You will play a critical role in modernizing the infrastructure by integrating virtualization, cloud, and container technologies while automating recurring tasks to enhance efficiency. The role requires a strong focus on Site Reliability Engineering through the development of monitoring and logging solutions. Required Skills

Education

Degree in (Business) Informatics, training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), or equivalent professional experience in the BI/Data Science field.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the Business Intelligence or Data Science environment
  • Practical experience in system administration for Linux or Windows Server environments
  • Experience in cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
  • Experience in automation using scripting, Ansible, or ArgoCD
  • Previous experience in data integration, software development, or data science is highly desirable
  • Experience in implementing security and compliance requirements including documentation
