As a Cloud Platform Engineer at Airbus Defence and Space, you will be responsible for the architecture, maintenance, and scaling of Kubernetes clusters to support cutting-edge AI and simulation projects. Your day-to-day activities involve designing automated CI/CD pipelines using GitOps strategies, implementing Zero Trust security architectures, and managing secrets with tools like HashiCorp Vault. You will play a critical role in automating infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and ensuring system reliability via comprehensive monitoring and logging systems like Prometheus and Grafana. The position requires a high level of technical expertise to integrate security compliance, manage identity access (IAM), and apply MLOps principles for AI applications. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field, with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence or Simulation.

  • Extensive experience with Docker, Linux containers, and cloud technologies
  • Proven experience in Kubernetes cluster management and Helm
  • Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines and GitOps workflows
  • Professional background in Infrastructure as Code and Secret Management
  • Experience in monitoring, logging, and IAM solutions
  • Experience in simulation-based research projects or AI environments is preferred
