Job Summary
This role involves the planning, design, and execution of maintenance and framework contracts for road equipment, specifically focusing on road markings and vehicle restraint systems for the Stuttgart district motorway network. As a Road Equipment Engineer, you will prepare technical tenders, coordinate construction timelines, and develop traffic management concepts in collaboration with public authorities and municipalities. You will be responsible for creating marking plans, traffic safety designs, and structural calculations while providing expert assessments on third-party construction requests. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering with a focus on construction, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Several years of practical experience in project control and construction implementation
- Professional experience in tendering, awarding, and billing of construction services
- Demonstrated experience with road maintenance regulations and technical standards
- Experience in coordinating with external stakeholders such as traffic authorities and municipalities
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B driver's license required; Willingness to travel and drive a company vehicle; Proficiency in MS Office; Knowledge of electronic construction billing (REB) is preferred.
