As a Scientific Project Lead for the renowned Stiftung Warentest, you will be at the forefront of consumer protection, managing comparative product tests in the fields of cosmetics, food, and health. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve designing rigorous testing programs based on scientific literature and legal standards, coordinating with external laboratories and experts, and evaluating complex analytical results. You will collaborate closely with editorial teams to translate scientific findings into accessible content for millions of readers on test.de and in print. This role is unique for its high societal impact, allowing you to represent objective consumer research in public forums, media, and advisory boards. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Food Chemistry and completion of professional practical training for state-certified food chemists (Staatlich geprüfte Lebensmittelchemiker) or equivalent qualifications.
Experience
- Professional experience in relevant chemical analytics and the legal, toxicological, and environmental assessment of cosmetics
- Experience in the conception and evaluation of application tests for cosmetic products is highly desirable
- Proven experience in managing project timelines and budgets
- Experience in representing scientific findings to public media, advisory boards, or legal entities

- The position is a 75% part-time role (29.25 hours/week) starting July 1, 2026. Must be willing to act internationally and represent the organization in public and legal contexts. Location is Berlin-Tiergarten.
