Job Summary
As the Head of IT & Digitalization for a municipal housing company in Brandenburg an der Havel, you will take full responsibility for the technological evolution of an organization managing approximately 4,300 apartments. This pivotal role involves leading a small IT team and reporting directly to the executive board. Your primary focus will be the strategic realignment of the ERP landscape, including the selection, migration, and implementation of a new system. You will balance high-level strategic planning—such as developing a digitalization roadmap and integrating AI-driven automation—with hands-on operational support. The position is ideal for a leader who enjoys creating clear structures and driving digital transformation within a stable, community-oriented environment. You will ensure IT security, manage external service providers, and foster a collaborative digital culture across all departments.
Required Skills
Education
University degree in (Business) Computer Science, Informatics, or a comparable qualification with sound practical IT experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in an operational IT leadership or Senior IT role with personnel management responsibility
- Proven experience in leading or significantly contributing to ERP selection and migration projects
- Extensive experience in IT project management and digital transformation initiatives
- Professional background in modern IT architectures and integration concepts
- Experience in establishing structures and processes within small to medium-sized organizations
