Job Summary
As the IT Manager based in Braunschweig, you will lead the local IT department while overseeing technical operations across international sites in Didcot, Prague, and Paris. Your daily responsibilities include managing enterprise architecture, enforcing IT standards, and overseeing governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). You will act as a strategic partner to business departments, identifying 'Best Practices' to optimize business processes and managing IT budgets in collaboration with controlling. The role is hands-on, involving Windows Server administration, MS Azure/Office 365 cloud management, and participating in the user helpdesk. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable qualification (e.g., IT Specialist with several years of professional experience).
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in leading cross-functional teams
- Extensive experience in the administration of Microsoft systems and operating systems
- Proven experience in creating IT roadmaps and managing IT budgets
- Professional background in corporate IT structures is considered an advantage
- Experience in managing enterprise architectures and implementing IT standards
