As an Ethical Hacker at SINTEC in Karlsruhe, you will take a leading role in securing industrial IoT and embedded systems. Your daily activities will involve conducting independent penetration tests and security analyses using both white-box and black-box methodologies. You will be responsible for identifying, documenting, and evaluating vulnerabilities in critical hardware and software components. A significant part of the role includes developing realistic attack scenarios and implementing test concepts based on international standards like IEC 62443 and ISO/SAE 21434. You will act as a consultant for clients, helping them build secure architectures and security concepts. Required Skills

Education

Completed degree in Cybersecurity, IT Security, Information Security, or a comparable qualification. Relevant certifications (e.g., OSCP, CEH, GIAC) are desirable.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in penetration testing, preferably within IoT and industrial networks
  • Extensive experience in analyzing security-critical systems and vulnerability evaluation
  • Professional experience in developing test concepts according to industry standards
  • Proven experience with security tools such as Metasploit, Burp Suite, and Nessus
