Job Summary

This role offers an engaging opportunity to join the global Regulatory Science Team within BASF's Agricultural Solutions division. As a Working Student, you will play a vital part in building and maintaining a database for ecological raw data concerning wild birds and mammals. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include ensuring data quality and consistency, extracting data for scientific analysis, and supporting the evaluation of ecological questions. Furthermore, you will assist in the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed publications and conduct independent literature research on ecotoxicological topics. This position is particularly attractive as it allows you to work within the world's largest chemical company, offering a mix of remote work flexibility and integration into an international, interdisciplinary team. Required Skills

Education

Enrolled student in Biology, Ecology, Natural Sciences, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Initial practical experience in scientific work

  • Experience in creating and maintaining databases
  • Experience in an international team environment

Additional

  • Must be available for at least 6 months starting August 1, 2026. Weekly commitment of 10-20 hours. Requires participation in a mandatory two-day onsite induction in Limburgerhof, Germany. Remote work options available.
