Job Summary

As an Electrical Design Engineer at FERCHAU, you will play a pivotal role in the hardware design and control technology for specialized machinery, specifically within the fields of custom machine construction and measurement/testing technology. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve creating comprehensive circuit and pneumatic diagrams using EPLAN P8 and managing associated bills of materials (BOM) within the ERP system. Beyond design, you will provide technical support during assembly, commissioning, and for the service department. Required Skills

Education

Vocational training in an electrical profession with further qualification as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker).

Experience

  • At least 2 years of professional experience as an Electrical Design Engineer specifically in the field of machine and plant engineering
  • Proven experience in the design of hardware and control systems for special-purpose machinery or measurement technology
  • Extensive practical experience using E-CAD systems, specifically EPLAN P8
  • Strong working knowledge of relevant technical standards and regulations regarding electrical and safety engineering
