Job Summary

As a Sensor Technology Development Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing innovative sensor concepts for monitoring critical switchgear parameters such as pressure, temperature, voltage, and current. Your daily responsibilities will involve the conceptualization and integration of sensors and interfaces for Remote Terminal Units (RTUs), as well as developing motor control concepts within switchgear systems. You will be responsible for planning and executing comprehensive test concepts to validate functional limits and utilizing digital data to optimize gas-insulated switchgear (GIS) operations. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Measurement Technology, Digital Technology, or a comparable field of study.

Experience

  • Professional experience in the development of sensor concepts and measurement systems
  • Practical experience in electrical signal acquisition and interface integration
  • Experience with motor control concepts within industrial or switchgear environments
  • Experience in planning and implementing validation tests for technical components
  • Familiarity with simulation tools and CAD/PLM software is preferred
  • Previous exposure to agile development environments and data analysis is advantageous
