Job Summary
This part-time position (30 hours/week) is based at the headquarters of the Schleswig-Holstein State Forestry (AöR) in Neumünster. As a Finance and Accounting Specialist, you will manage the day-to-day accounts payable workflow, including invoice processing, account assignment, and the reconciliation of open items. Your role extends to cost center and cost object accounting, master data maintenance, and supporting the preparation of annual financial statements in accordance with HGB (German Commercial Code). Beyond routine bookkeeping, you will play a key role in the organization's digital transformation and generate critical financial analyses and reports. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Tax Assistant (Steuerfachangestellter), Financial Accountant (Finanzbuchhalter), or an equivalent professional qualification.
Experience
- Professional experience in financial accounting or bookkeeping is required
- Several years of professional experience in the field of accounting is preferred
- Practical experience in cost accounting and cost center management
- Experience using ERP or inventory management software systems
- Demonstrated experience in processing invoices and account reconciliation
