Job Summary
This role involves managing the technical maintenance and daily operations of the French Embassy in Berlin, a significant facility covering over 22,000 square meters. As a Technical Facilities Manager, you will lead a team of two technicians, oversee external service providers for cleaning and maintenance, and manage the annual maintenance budget. Key responsibilities include planning inspections, negotiating quotes, and ensuring the smooth execution of small-scale repairs and embassy events. You will also act as a deputy for procurement and public expenditure tasks. This position is ideal for a professional with a strong technical background who enjoys a mix of hands-on technical oversight and administrative management. Required Skills
Education
Qualified Construction Technician (Bautechniker) or equivalent technical vocational qualification.
Experience

- Experience in leading small technical teams
- Proven experience in negotiating with contractors and service providers
- Experience in crisis management and handling emergency technical situations
