Job Summary

As a Data Engineer with a focus on automation at HDI AG, you will be responsible for building and operating robust data pipelines (both batch and streaming) to support end-to-end automated processes. Your daily work involves connecting operational source systems to provide curated data products for AI and automation solutions. You will handle data modeling, transformation, and versioning while ensuring clean interface management via APIs and messaging systems. A significant part of the role focuses on data quality, telemetry, and observability, including the implementation of monitoring, alerting, and cost transparency. You will collaborate closely with AI Engineers and RPA developers to provide high-performance data services. This position is unique for its integration of traditional data engineering with cutting-edge AI services and cloud architecture standardization, all within a framework that values governance, documentation, and agile teamwork.
