Job Summary
As a Hardware Developer at AMS Software & Elektronik GmbH, you will play a central role in the lifecycle of electronic assemblies, moving projects from initial concept through to serial production. Your daily responsibilities include designing circuit boards and hardware components for both internal products and diverse client requirements. Beyond hardware, you will develop custom test systems and the software solutions required to control and integrate them into the manufacturing process. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work closely with internal departments and customers to analyze requirements and troubleshoot complex technical issues. Based in Flensburg, this position offers a dynamic environment within an established EMS provider, characterized by flat hierarchies and flexible working hours. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification such as a State-Certified Technician (Staatlich geprüfter Techniker).
Experience
- Several years of mandatory experience in the development of hardware components, circuit design, and PCB layout
- Professional experience in programming microcontrollers and embedded systems
- Demonstrated experience in software development using C/C++ and Visual Basic
- Experience in developing and integrating test systems into manufacturing environments
- Proven track record of collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams
