As a Process & Application Engineer specializing in Rework, you will play a pivotal role in the further development, optimization, and verification of rework processes on existing platforms in Wertheim. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve analyzing complex customer applications, evaluating repairability, and managing intricate soldering/desoldering, cleaning, and balling processes. You will bridge the gap between technical execution and future innovation by deriving requirements for upcoming software releases and machine generations. This role is highly collaborative, requiring you to work closely with R&D, Sales, and Product Management to provide technical proof-of-concept for system practicality. Required Skills
Education
Completed technical degree (University/University of Applied Sciences) or comprehensive technical vocational training.
Experience
- At least 5 years of professional experience in mechanical engineering or electronics manufacturing

- Professional experience in analyzing complex customer applications and repairability
- Experience in collaborative environments working with R&D and Product Management
- Experience in customer-facing roles with strong communication requirements
