Job Summary

The City of Bad Rodach is seeking a dedicated leader to serve as the Head of Finance (City Treasurer) starting November 1, 2026. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the city's financial administration, ensuring long-term fiscal stability and managing the municipal budget. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include leading the finance department, participating in committee meetings outside of standard hours, and potentially serving as a registrar for civil ceremonies on weekends. Required Skills

Education

Successful completion of the 3rd Qualification Level (QE) in Administration and Finance (e.g., Diploma in Public Administration), or the Administrative Specialist Examination II (Fachprüfung II), or a comparable degree with a focus on Finance or Law.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in finance or administrative law
  • Proven leadership experience in a professional environment
  • Experience within the German public administration sector (3rd Qualification Level or equivalent)
