Job Summary
This role involves the end-to-end planning and technical implementation of traffic signaling systems (LSA) in Detmold. On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the parameterization and programming of control units, creating and optimizing signal programs, and developing CAD drawings for site plans and traffic routing. You will act as a key technical liaison, conducting official program inspections and acceptance tests alongside customers and local authorities. The position is ideal for someone with a background in electrical engineering or mechatronics who wants to specialize in smart city infrastructure and traffic management. Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar field; State-certified Technician (Techniker) qualification is preferred.
Experience
- Professional experience or vocational training in electrical engineering, mechatronics, or a related technical field.
- Practical experience or strong interest in CAD software for creating technical site plans.
- Experience in traffic planning or the technical control of signaling systems is highly preferred.
- Experience in communicating with customers and public authorities during project acceptance phases.
