As a Tax Expert at POLYTEC GROUP, you will play a critical role in managing international tax processes and ensuring group-wide compliance across four continents. Your day-to-day responsibilities focus heavily on the VAT assessment of project businesses, managing global VAT registrations, and filing monthly and quarterly VAT returns for foreign entities. You will act as an internal consultant for VAT-related inquiries and support special VAT audits. Required Skills
Education
Degree in Tax Law, Finance, or Business Administration, or an equivalent professional qualification as a Tax Clerk/Specialist with relevant practical experience.
Experience
- Professional experience in tax law gained through a university degree or several years of practice within a tax consulting firm
- Extensive experience with European VAT legislation and cross-border tax assessment
- Proven track record in handling VAT registrations and filings in international jurisdictions
- Experience in internal consulting and communicating complex tax matters to stakeholders
- Experience supporting special tax audits, specifically regarding VAT
