Job Summary
As the Software Development Team Lead at Kaltenbach, a leader in steel processing machinery, you will spearhead the technical and functional leadership of a four-person development team. Your daily responsibilities involve conceptualizing software architectures and developing control and application software using PLC and .NET technologies. You will be responsible for planning and organizing software projects for new developments, maintenance, and visualization software within the KCS product line. A key part of the role involves driving standardization and modularization while evaluating technical risks and resource requirements for special requests. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Technical Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
Experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in software development for .NET applications or PLC automation
- Professional experience in control technology within the mechanical engineering sector
- Proven experience in leading teams or managing software projects
- Practical experience with agile development methods such as Scrum or Kanban
- Experience in the development of automation solutions and modular software structures
