Job Summary
This role involves the responsible maintenance and operation of control and instrumentation (I&C) systems at a biomass power plant operated by BioEnergie Taufkirchen, a subsidiary of Stadtwerke München. On a day-to-day basis, the successful candidate will manage Siemens S7 with WinCC and ABB Freelance automation systems, ensuring the seamless generation of electricity and district heating. Key responsibilities include planning and executing repairs, conducting recurring inspections, and performing fault analysis and troubleshooting. You will also be responsible for selecting and installing various sensors (pressure, temperature, etc.) and coordinating external service providers. This position is particularly attractive due to its location within a crisis-proof industry, offering a high degree of personal responsibility, short decision-making paths, and the stability of a municipal utility group. The role includes a company vehicle for on-call duties and 30 days of annual leave.
Required Skills
Education
Completed vocational training as a Master Craftsman (Meister), Technician, or Skilled Worker in the fields of Instrumentation and Control (MSR), Automation Technology, or Electrical Engineering.
Experience
- Professional experience in the field of automation, I&C, or electrical engineering
- Experience in the maintenance and repair of technical plant components
- Experience in fault diagnosis and system analysis
- Experience in managing external service providers and monitoring construction progress regarding costs and quality
