Job Summary
This full-time, permanent position within the Office for Building Management for the City of Witten involves overseeing electrical systems across a diverse portfolio of municipal properties, including schools, kindergartens, and administrative buildings. As the designated electrical specialist (Anlagenverantwortlicher), you will be responsible for the safe operation of electrical installations and provide technical and organizational site management for both new construction and renovation projects. Your daily tasks will include planning, creating cost estimates, developing performance specifications, and coordinating maintenance and modernization measures. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys a mix of strategic development and hands-on technical oversight. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Dipl.-Ing. or B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering. Completed vocational training as an Electrician or Electrical Systems Installer is desirable.
Experience
- Professional experience in electrical engineering and building technology
- Experience in technical and organizational site management for construction projects
- Experience in planning, cost estimation, and creating performance specifications
- Practical experience in the operation and maintenance of electrical systems
Languages
Additional
- Valid Class B (or Class 3) driver's license required. Willingness to use a private vehicle for business purposes (with reimbursement) is preferred. Must be willing to act as the responsible person for the safe operation of electrical installations (Anlagenverantwortlicher).
