Job Summary
This role involves leading the technical execution and legal oversight of switchgear construction for a specialized electrical engineering firm. As a Licensed Representative (Konzessionsträger), you will be responsible for the construction, wiring, and commissioning of custom control cabinets and switchgear systems based on circuit diagrams and parts lists. Your daily tasks include mounting components on assembly plates, performing standardized wiring, and conducting rigorous functional and safety tests on electrical systems. Beyond technical execution, you will handle troubleshooting at customer sites and ensure all installations are properly documented. Required Skills
Education
Master Craftsman's Certificate in Electrical Engineering (Elektrotechnikermeister), a Degree in Electrical Engineering, or a comparable qualification allowing entry into the German Crafts Role (Handwerksrolle).
Experience
- Professional experience in control cabinet construction and switchgear assembly
- Proven experience in reading and interpreting complex electrical circuit diagrams
- Experience in conducting safety and functional inspections of electrical components
- Professional background in independent and conscientious technical execution
- Experience in a leadership or legally responsible capacity (Konzessionsträger) is required
