Job Summary
This role involves managing and optimizing the IT infrastructure for the schools in the City of Schenefeld, as well as supporting the adult education center and city library. As an IT Specialist, you will be responsible for the administration of hardware and software, ensuring the operational readiness of school IT systems, and providing technical support for interactive whiteboards, projectors, and digital end devices. You will play a key role in the digital transformation of educational facilities by developing media-pedagogical concepts and conducting internal training for teaching staff. Required Skills
Education
University degree in Computer Science or a related field; alternatively, completed vocational training as an IT Specialist (Fachinformatiker), IT Systems Clerk (Informatikkaufmann), or an equivalent qualification with relevant professional experience.
Experience
- Several years of professional experience in supporting PC workstations and IT peripherals in medium to large network environments
- Professional experience working with heterogeneous user structures
- Proven experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues
- Experience in implementing and monitoring data protection regulations within an IT context
