Job Summary

This role involves the comprehensive coordination and management of the 'NEFI' project, which focuses on vocational orientation for students in the Mansfeld-Südharz district. As the Project Manager, you will lead hands-on workshops in fields such as Metal/Technology, Healthcare, AI, and Drone Construction to help youth discover their strengths. Your daily responsibilities include pedagogical guidance for students, creating individual competency profiles, and fostering strong partnerships with schools, regional companies, and chambers of commerce. Beyond the educational aspect, you will manage project budgets, handle reporting for ESF+ funding, and execute public relations strategies including social media and trade fairs. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy working with young people and want to make a tangible impact on regional workforce development. The role offers a 36-hour work week and the opportunity to work in a dynamic, multi-disciplinary environment covering cutting-edge topics like AI and robotics.

Required Skills

Education

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Social Pedagogy, Vocational Pedagogy, Educational Management, Social Sciences, Technical Pedagogy, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in project management, specifically with funded projects such as ESF or LEADER
  • Experience in pedagogical instruction or working with youth in an educational setting
  • Demonstrated experience in coordinating with schools, regional businesses, and associations
  • Experience in budget administration and reporting to funding bodies
  • Experience in public relations and organizing events like career fairs
