Job Summary

As a Fiber Optic Project Coordinator for Stadtnetz Bamberg, you will play a pivotal role in driving the digitalization and infrastructure transition in one of Germany's most beautiful cities. Your daily responsibilities will involve planning NE3 projects, coordinating construction activities such as fiber blowing and splicing, and managing resource and material allocation. You will act as a site manager, providing instructions to technicians while ensuring high-quality standards through rigorous inspections. Beyond technical oversight, you will be responsible for budget and deadline control, project documentation, and monitoring switching operations within the fiber network. This role is unique for its blend of field-based construction management and strategic process improvement. You will also coordinate fault rectification and maintenance work, ensuring the reliability of the local telecommunications network.
