Job Summary
As a Senior Electrical Engineer, you will take full ownership of the electrical lifecycle for mission-critical platforms, spanning from initial concept and prototyping to rigorous testing and field validation. Your day-to-day responsibilities involve developing and validating high-performance electronic systems, embedded controls, and robust electrical integrations. You will be expected to apply expert-level knowledge in power electronics and battery management systems (BMS) while utilizing laboratory diagnostic tools like oscilloscopes and logic analyzers for troubleshooting. This role is particularly attractive for those interested in high-stakes engineering, as it involves working on ruggedized systems designed to withstand extreme conditions. You will ensure systems meet EMI/EMC standards and potentially work with MIL-STD documentation, making this a unique opportunity to contribute to highly durable, specialized technology in a permanent, full-time capacity.
Required Skills
Education
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Mechatronics, or a comparable technical field.
Experience
- 5+ years of experience in the development and validation of electrical systems from concept to field validation
- 3+ years of experience in high-performance power converter design and validation
- Professional experience in laboratory troubleshooting and diagnostics
- Professional experience in embedded control systems development
Languages
Additional
- Expertise in MIL-STD documentation is required as a certification/qualification. The role requires experience with high-voltage safety and ruggedization practices for mission-critical hardware.
