This is a leadership role overseeing the municipal administration for the community of Vordorf. As the Head of Administration, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the municipal office and the local public works yard (Bauhof), leading a small team of six employees. You will serve as the primary point of contact for citizens and act as a strategic advisor to the honorary mayor and political committees. Key duties include managing committee meetings via the ALLRIS system, implementing political resolutions, and overseeing municipal projects. Required Skills

Education

Completed training for the higher non-technical administrative service (gehobener Dienst), successfully completed Administrative Course II (Angestelltenlehrgang II), or a Bachelor's degree in Law (LL.B.) or Business Administration (B.A.).

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in municipal administration is required
  • Experience in leading or deputy leading a municipal administration or comparable organizational unit is preferred
  • Proven experience in project management is desirable
  • Extensive experience in managing committee work and political decision-making processes
