Job Summary

As a Senior Project Engineer, you will take the lead in planning and designing technical fire protection systems for high-tech facilities, including cleanrooms, production plants, and laboratories within the Life Science sector. Your daily responsibilities involve developing comprehensive fire suppression concepts focusing on sprinkler, water, and gas extinguishing technologies across various HOAI performance phases. You will create schematic drawings, collaborate with CAD designers on 3D modeling, and coordinate extensively with authorities, experts, and clients. Beyond technical design, you are responsible for cost estimation, preparing performance specifications, and evaluating bids from contractors. This role is ideal for a proactive professional who enjoys managing complex technical relationships and ensuring high-quality project delivery for world-renowned clients. Required Skills

Education

Degree in Building Services Engineering, Energy Technology, or state-certified technician in HVAC (HLKS), or a comparable technical qualification.

Experience

  • Several years of professional experience in the planning of complex Technical Building Services (TGA) systems
  • Extensive specialist knowledge in the field of fire extinguishing systems
  • Experience in project planning for high-tech and life science industries (cleanrooms, labs, production)
  • Proven experience in cost calculation and commercial processing with external contractors
  • Experience in coordinating with authorities and technical experts

Additional

  • Knowledge of German standards and guidelines (DIN/VDS) is required. Must be able to work independently on large-scale projects.
