Job Summary

This role involves the development, implementation, and optimization of PLC-based automation solutions at a manufacturing facility in Straubing. As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for programming control systems using CODESYS (IEC 61131-3) and creating software modules for vehicle bodies. Your daily tasks include collaborating with design and production departments, supporting commissioning processes, and performing diagnostics to troubleshoot automation systems. Required Skills

Education

Completed vocational training or degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, Mechatronics, or a comparable qualification.

Experience

  • Professional experience in industrial automation, mechanical engineering, or plant construction
  • Proven experience in programming with CODESYS 2.3 or 3.5
  • Experience in developing and maintaining software modules for vehicle bodies or similar applications
  • Experience in commissioning and error analysis of control systems
