As a Senior Manager or Director of Tax Compliance at AURELIUS, you will lead a specialized team overseeing the tax compliance landscape for a globally active private equity house. Your daily responsibilities involve managing the tax return processes at the holding level, coordinating external consultants, and reviewing complex filings. You will act as the primary contact for German tax audits, manage transfer pricing documentation, and ensure compliance with international standards such as CbCR, DAC6, and Pillar II. Additionally, you will play a pivotal role in evolving the Tax Compliance Management System (CMS) and overseeing reorganization projects like internal mergers. Required Skills

Education

Successfully completed degree in Economics, Business Administration, or Law; Certified Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) qualification.

Experience

  • At least 8 years of professional experience as a Tax Advisor (Steuerberater) within a tax consulting firm or the tax department of an international corporation
  • Proven experience in managing tax return and compliance processes
  • Experience in handling German tax audits and complex corporate tax inquiries
  • Experience in team leadership and managing external consultants
  • Professional experience in conceptual and analytical tax planning
