Job Summary

As an Azure Cloud Architect at TenneT, you will play a pivotal role in driving the energy transition by designing and implementing scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructures. Your day-to-day responsibilities include planning cloud architectures, managing the migration of on-premise systems to Microsoft Azure, and ensuring seamless integration into existing IT structures. You will be a key figure in establishing 'Security-by-Design' and Zero Trust principles, while also developing standardized architecture documentation and reference models. This role offers the unique opportunity to represent TenneT in joint infrastructure working groups and advise on large-scale cloud projects for transmission system operators. Beyond technical design, you will act as a consultant and mentor, creating technical documentation and conducting training sessions. Required Skills

Education

University degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification with sound IT knowledge.

Experience

  • Extensive professional experience in the design and implementation of cloud infrastructures, specifically with Microsoft Azure
  • Proven experience in developing scalable and secure cloud solutions and their integration into existing IT landscapes
  • Practical experience with architecture frameworks such as TOGAF
  • Demonstrated experience in information security, risk management, and applying security policies within cloud environments
  • Experience in leading complex IT projects and collaborating with international teams and service providers

Additional
