Job Summary
The City of Dissen aTW is seeking a Climate Protection Manager to lead the implementation of its Integrated Climate Protection Concept (IKSK). In this part-time role (19.5 hours per week), you will be responsible for spearheading municipal heat planning, evaluating energetic neighborhood concepts, and establishing a municipal energy management system. Your daily activities will involve collaborating with central building management on efficiency measures, promoting climate-friendly mobility, and establishing advisory boards. A significant portion of the role focuses on public relations and presenting climate initiatives to committees and the general public. This position offers a secure public service contract (TVöD E11) for 36 months, featuring flexible working hours, modern technical equipment, and a family-friendly environment in a scenic location between Osnabrück, Bielefeld, and Münster. Required Skills
Education
University degree (Bachelor or Diploma) in Energy, Climate Protection and Environment, Architecture (focus on Energy/Environment), Civil Engineering (focus on Energy/Environment), or a related field of study focused on Energy and Environment.
